The story
Grafton takes its name from Britain's rich maritime heritage and pays homage to the HMS Grafton warship series. The series began with a ship completed in 1679, and the name "Grafton" has remained a fixture in the British navy ever since.
This fragrance was launched in 1983 after an officer on the HMS Grafton suggested the name during a shave at a Truefitt & Hill branch. He was so impressed by the masculine scent that he recommended naming it after his favorite ship.
